- Eleuthera is a little over a 3hour flight and 2200 miles from Orlando, and approximately 50 miles east of Nassau Bahama, making it a very accessible Bahamas Vacation.
- The island was settled by the British in the mid 1600's, and has a large Cruise presence with both Disney and Princess owning private beach clubs.
- As of 2010, there is roughly only 8,200 people living on the island of Eleuthera making your chances of rubbing shoulders with one of it's celebrity occupants very good

- Best Romantic/Couples beach- Pink Sands Beach- without a doubt this beach will leave you speechless with it's uniquely pink sand caused by marine life. Located on the smaller Harbour Island off Eleuthera's coast the short ferry boat to get there is worth the trip!
- Best Family beach- Ten Bay Beach- is best for children as it has shallower waters and an interesting cave close by
- Best Water Sports beach- Surfers Beach is best for Surfing and water sports as it has bigger waves

- The Glass Window Bridge- Estimated to be only 30feet wide, this piece of land separates the Atlantic Ocean to it's east and the Great Bahama Bank to it's west is believed to be the narrowest place on earth

Currency and payment accepted on the island:
The official currency on Eleuthera is the Bahamian dollar, however the U.S. dollar and credit cards are generally accepted. Like on most islands, cash is king, and smaller merchants generally are open to negotiating price.
